About Us
The American Axolotl Organization is an organization which aims to be a welcoming place for axolotl enthusiasts, breeders, and soon-to-be owners. We're here to ensure that every axolotl gets more than the minimum care, and that axolotl keepers everywhere can access the information they need.
Community
AXO has created a wide reaching community with a growing social media presence. We have a quickly growing Discord server, Facebook group, and other forms of social media.
Resources For Owners
We connect new owners with breeders who can provide the best possible axolotls to waiting homes. AXO advocates personally vet each breeder which we recommend. Additionally, our social media communities provide minor healthcare advice to owners and can assist in locating a veterinarian for more emergent cases.
Resources For Breeders
AXO frequently updates the list we keep of verified breeders. We allow advertisement through our social media channels, and upon acceptance onto our verified list, you will have the chance to grow your business through us. Check back soon - we're also working up a lineage registry for axolotls across the world! This groundbreaking project will bring insight and clarity into ethical breeding standards.
